Internal Wholesaler
Job description: The Internal Sales Department ensures the effective marketing and sales of the various product lines and builds long-term relationships for the purpose of establishing a profitable base of business. Provides direct and indirect marketing and sales support services to internal and external customers to ensure the company meets its sales objectives.
The Internal Sales Associate contributes to increased sales and corporate profitability by supporting the external Sales Force at the point of the sales effort for one or more lines-of-business. Duties include:
Develops new sales sources, contacts and works with major Broker/Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors
Contributes to the acquisition of new business
Provides internal sales support to representatives and field management to grow and retain sales
Facilitates communication between the field and various distribution channels
Conducts general research
Works with team to develop region or line-of-business, cultivate new relationships and recognize sales opportunities
Qualifications: Experience with heavy phone volume, both inbound and outbound; must have an excellent phone manner and proven success managing relationships via phone
Very Strong product knowledge of Variable and Fixed Annuities, as well as mutual funds
Attention to detail and dedication to quality of work essential
Other skills:
- excellent customer service skills
- strong computer/email skills
- experience with ACT software (or other CMS experience) helpful
- MS Excel, Word, Outlook
NASD Licenses Series 6, 63 required

Product Manager
Job description: Reporting directly to the President, the Product Manager will lead the product development and enhancement effort in fast-paced, results-driven environment. Your knowledge of fixed and variable annuities and mutual fund products will be an asset to the firm. Your exemplary presentation, training and product knowledge skills will enable you to help drive the sales of our existing and future products. As the Product Manager for Vantage Advisor Group you will be required to perform the following tasks:
Research product additions and the carrier or fund providers
Negotiate Wholesaling Agreements
Coordinate activities with carriers/providers
Conduct analysis of competitors products and features
Create and distribute marketing materials
Determine and implement procedures for new product operations
Train sales and internal support staff (ongoing)
Assist in the development of the internal support desk
Qualifications:
At least 5 years Product Management experience, specifically annuities (Mutual Fund experience helpful)
Able to create, implement and maintain ongoing product training
Knowledge of the Independent BD and Bank distribution channels
Extensive product knowledge in variable and fixed annuity products
Must be highly organized, resourceful and an innovative problem solver with excellent communication skills
Bachelors Degree
Ability to present CE course credits a plus
Superior product presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively
